Family Excited to Present Mom with Car

Sisters Karissa Quinlan and Carley Murphy were excited to present their mom Brenda Quinlan with a new car last week. The vehicle was restored by KDHS auto students through donations. Pictured, KDHS teacher Gord Osborne, Matt Isaacs and Jim Flynn of the Neighbourhood Charitable Alliance present the car to Karissa and Carley.

Brenda Quinlan has a new set of wheels thanks to great community support. It was announced last week that the Woodslee mother and grandmother was the recipient of a restored Chevrolet Impala. Reaume Chevrolet Buick GMC donated the vehicle to the Kingsville District High School auto shop last year. At the time of its arrival, the car was in rough shape. Through the hard work of the students, the car was restored and made ready to roll again.

The car has a new fuel system, brakes, paint job and many other improvements. The project was made possible through additional donations from Southern Collision, Queen’s Auto – CarQuest, O.E.M. and Custom Wheels Inc., Auto Tech Garage in Ruthven, Libro Credit Union and the Neighbourhood Charitable Alliance.
